From memory, the first EK A380 to fly into Australia will be early February 2009. If you do a dummy booking with them, you might be able to find the specific date.
It'll be great in SYD having A380s all over the place. Looks like the International Terminal will be an Airbus haven, with only a number of Boeing 777s and 747s in a few years time.
