Five helicopters descended on Warriewood headland after a paraglider crashed on the cliff face this afternoon. The accident happened around 3:30pm, but
because the paraglided was hanging from a vertical cliff face, it was after 6pm before the patient was stabilized and transported to hospital. Chopper
images are from our balcony, 620m from the cliff face.
The Westpac chopper had a close up look first, but because of the paragliders location, waited for assistance from the two NSW Ambulance Service
choppers. Paramedics abseiled from the clifftop down to the patient.
NSW Ambulance Service MBB-BK 117 C-2 VH-SYG makes a low approach over our house to the headland location.

VH-SYG departs the cliff top for Warriewood Beach, to pick up the patient after he was lowered from the cliff face.
