Thanks Greg ; I read that article this morning and it's great to know that the B747s are "parked" and not "retired".
And a nephew in Sydney told me on Saturday that the B747 QF26 flight from Tokyo and its lap over the harbour on 27 March was reported by various media outlets as the last flight by a QF B747.
Why does the media get things so wrong ?
