QF A380 smoke in cockpit
Seems todays QF32 Departure from Heathrow had to return after smoke in the cockpit some 90 mins into the flight.. Aircraft was VH-OQE...

Low quality debate on the Aviation Herald board - thankfully we don't get much of that here.
Isn't OQE the newest A380 that we saw land on a delivery flight from Avalon around midday Sunday of the Spotters' Weekend? Qantas seems to be getting more than its fair share of teething problems with the A380, or it it just that Singapore Airlines is better at concealing the problems?

Smoking in the cockpit is prohibited by law isn't it?

VH-OQF, delivered about 13 January, is the latest QF A380 making six in total.

Thanks for that link. My sister nephews and brother in law are on that flight and they are currently in Singapore and not due in until 6am tomorrow morning. This would be mainly due to the curfew.
Thanks again love this forum. Al |
