But before VH-EXG came to Sydney, don't forget! Mike Wansey had his Catalina there, late in the 1970s. He had brought it over from the C A F in Texas where he then kept it. While here, it was used for a Building Society promotion. By opening an account with a specified minimum deposit, a new customer went into a draw for a flight aboard the Catalina. Mike Wansey. wonder what happened to him after his Rebel Air ownership days?
