Default Emirates B744 Freighter In Sydney

Rare Emirates SkyCargo In Sydney

Emirates normally operate a Boeing B777-F1H Freighter into Sydney, however last night we were treated with the 2007 build Boeing B747-4HAFER Freighter
OO-THC (35235). After unloading at the Cargo Apron last night, the aircraft was towed over to the Qantas Jet Base. Scheduled departure this morning was
1040L, and OO-THC departed just after 1100L under beautiful blue skies.

It looks like the nose cargo door has been replaced or repainted recently.

Video of the night arrival and mid morning departure today.

Any out of the ordinary B747 is truly welcome to Sydney these days.
A nice set of images Grahame.

Nice shots and location Nigel.

Paul, I have just started using the new Nikon D500 with my ED AF-S VR-Nikkor 70-200mm 1:2.8G lens

Loving the camera, 21.51 M-Pixel, 10 frames/second, 153 Focus Points with selection Joystick, HD and
4K Video, and a Touch Screen with iPhone like functionality. Storage is on XQD and SD Card slots.

Thanks Grahame,
I'm spoilt for the location, but I've still got to make the shots work. The hardest part is guessing how much runway they'll use!
