Default Round Australia Flight by 17yo

Pilot Oliver O'Halloran sets off on #Solo17 flight around Australia

Tasmanian student Oliver O'Halloran, 17, is on his L-plates and must be accompanied by an adult when driving.

Today though, Oliver, wearing the jacket of his former school St Virgil's College - where the motto is 'by deeds, not words' - climbed into a Cessna 172 and took off on the first leg of his attempt to set a new record for the youngest pilot to circumnavigate Australia, unassisted.
