Smile 3 contails over Sydney

about 10.00am, there were 3 contrails over Sydney

all appeared from the east, and over Sydney did a right turn and headed west

each plane was just ahead of the next plane, and slightly to the right of each other.

great to see

Banjo

Speaking of contrails, I was walking to the pub yesterday and looked up in the sky and I noticed a pair of pink contrails, any idea how they got to be pink?

I also captured this morning's contails at 9.56 am - here are the thumbnails. I have full size for anyone who is interested.

There were also two nice contrails over head Sydney heading north to south as I was driving home from work at 1715 today. Looked like a Virgin Blue and Qantas without a pair of binoculars at hand and they were quite close laterally.

Default But did you know

The B2 bomber does not leave Contails as the jets hot gasses are cooled prior to leaving the rear of the aircraft.

What you learn from too much TV.
