In the background of some of the Rex 738 launch shots at MEL I noticed a Jetstar 788 without engine covers and with airstairs at door 1. Could this also be headed for ASP?

Before the repositioning to ASP commenced in February, 2021 there were ten Jetstar B787s stored at AVV and one at MEL. The MEL aircraft is VH-VKJ which relocated from AVV in late August, 2020 and remains there. This is the aircraft you would have seen in the REX publicity photos, Kent.

As at today's date, there are now five Jetstar B787s at AVV, five at ASP and one at MEL.
