Demolition of the old Adelaide Terminal building
Went past this morning and the demolition is well underway.
To make way for a new car park. I have fond memories of this building from 1963 onwards, it was constructed in 1957 to replace the former terminal located inside the Ansett hangar

It's a shame it would have made a good little terminal for Tiger

Nasty, nasty building by the end - no loss to see it go. I loved the black mould in the compressed cardboard ceiling tiles. Yes, a lot of it was due to lack of maintenance with the new terminal on its way, but it was a pretty gloomy place anyway....
