Default Arrow air DC-10 engine parts fall while flying over Brazil

Found this story on ninemsn. I have only ever flown one DC-10, that'll do me

From memory it was bits falling off a Continental DC10 that caused that horrific Concorde crash at CDG many years ago.

I think a class action was mooted against the maintenance facility by relatives of the deceased. Not sure what eventuated.

Unfortunately it is an ongoing problem even with new aircraft; bits just fall off!!
