What a load of crap!! Would you like to point out the bits in the article that are not factual and well known? You seem to suffer from what you're accusing him of...Qantas blood running through your veins!!

don't call it crap, its my opinion and I will stand by it

he was on the George & Paul show on 2UE, and saying the QF engineers/pilots were 100% correct, no room for maybe there asking too much

todays piece by him opened The contrast between a floundering Qantas management and Virgin Australia at the IATA conference in Singapore is painful to watch, even from here.

didn't realise QF was floundering

then last week he was crapping on about the QF DFW run, all based the press reports that one flight diverted to Noumea, and some bags got left behind, made out qf was totally incompetent

enough said

ps i call as I see it, not thru any loyalty, different to a journalist who should present a fair and balanced view

Tell me a journalist who does and who checks all the facts.

So far Ben Sandilands appears to be the only journalist who shows the other side, beyond the press releases that the companies PR gives out.

And I'm curious, what's this "too much" that QF Pilots are asking for?

Mick

Funny stuff!!

Only a few weeks ago (I think) Qantas was boasting about extending their 737 leases and the like...

So all the 787's going to Jetstar now ?

Funny about the QF fleet and many older aircraft.

Northwest operated DC-9's for over 40 years?

Amazing!

We may still see VH-TJE in 2030... lol.

he clearly states the difference between floundering Qantas management and Virgin Australia management.

DFW could have gotten off to a better start, already there are known instances of bags not being loaded, pax being sent via LAX, a/c having to stop for fuel on the return leg.

all based on reports from passengers who have spoken to the press...if that's a fact then the problem is not with the press.

i lost sandlilands confidence in his writings when he started questioning QF tax planning, on the basis it was un-Australian

the guy has no idea EVERY large organisation plans its taxes to its benefits, its neither illegal or immoral

to single out QF shows a perversion against QF

I should add, Australian Aviation journalists are some of the only one's who I do trust to check their facts and publish stories worth reading.
