I took a wrong turn and ended up at the entrance to that base a few weeks ago when we were staying in Kailua. Good that crew are OK, bad that the beuatiful bay could be impacted.

Now out of the lagoon and getting a freshwater rinse, the Navy aim to restore it to flying condition.
