Default Sydney Diversions - 01 March

Some interesting holding patterns around Sydney this afternoon due to two storm cells associated with southerly change.

QF146 diverting to Coffs Harbour due to low fuel and possibly other diversions.

Cheers
Mark

The southerly brought with it 52kt wind gusts at the airport, and Botany Bay went from being almost glassy flat to instant white-caps. The shelf cloud att he leading edge of the front was quite spectacular too.

Seems like they forgot about the weekly shutdown of AKL's runway on the way back. So they went for a tour of the North Island of NZ before landing!
