I'm glad I booked accommodation early

I'll be scoping out locations on Saturday afternoon. I'd prefer a side on view on the western side rather than the BMX track. Anyway hope to bump into a few of you there. Should be a great morning.

My house is directly under its landing path north of the airport, and exactly in line with the runway 16. We get small aircraft from time to time, and used to get the Dash8's, but the site of the 747 will be something to see.

Cessna 210N Centurion VH-TEY was out again today doing some aerial photography of the Illawarra, shame they did not wait until Sunday morning and they
would have had VH-OJA in the images of Illawarra Regional Airport.

Maybe getting a before and after? I can get to Albion Park (station) at around 6am, though the viewing spot (BMX track) would likely be full by then?

Possibly not. It's a fair slice of paddock there!

Ok. Time to make up my mind, will be around 24 hours of travel but...

Weather is looking ok, though I do think there will be morning cloud along the coast.
