A short landing then reverse thrust to back along the runway for about 200 metres.

Two dump and burns in the one performance, maybe they didn't get the memo on the world financial crisis.

Great display as usual, help the nose up on landing for most of the roll.

This aircraft was used in the Victorian fire fighng.

Elvis doing his usual great work, a massive water dump.

One of my friends son was flying the lead F18 for this display, four in the formation with some excellent close in work.

One of the loudest takeoffs of the day.

Hi Joseph, it really is a gret looking aircraft, inside and out. Unfortunately I do not have any details on the program for tomorrow, I hope the weather is better and they open up again for you.

Nice pics Lukas. Was the Jetstar A320 the arrival before the A380? If so, could I have a higher-res copy of it please? My Brother was on that flight.

Cheers
Tony

Nice pictures there. Thanks for sharing.
Also two things, how close can you get to the static aircraft? Further away than at RAAF shows or just as close behind the ropes? (I haven't been to the Avalon one before)
Also, Lukas, in the pic of Elvis, what's with the line of emergency vehicles?
Hopefully tomorrow is a better day weather wise.

Ta, Gerard
