I also think it is partly to due to the V Australia (supposed) announcement.

I would have been might ****ed if I were DJ and Branson had come out to do press for Air Asia X at the same time the V was launching (or rumoured ot be launching)

A340 for AirAsia X
AirAsia X is set to commence flights to London in March next year after signing a lease agreement for an Airbus A340 aircraft.

SO, we should just about be due for their next aussie move then I take it

V Australia is a full service airline. There is no food ordering...

Whoops, I meant Virgin America, you can pre-select your food on the screen and they deliver it to you!

Basically crazy!!, great availability also, and very cheap connections on sale. Cant wait till there down here at MEL!
