Default Force landing Menangle

A Piper PA-28 has made a forced landing at Menangle today.

From the video shown the aircraft (VH-PBS) made a very successful forced landing in a paddock near Remembrance Drive. The aircraft looks intact.

Just found the landing site on Google Earth. It looks like the paddock to the west of Old Hume Highway and Finns Road intersection in Camden (South), landing to the south.

Given the terrain, the power lines, trees and lack of damage, give the man a beer. Street view will show why.

Well done and glad all are safe.
