Default Rolling Stones Enroute To Perth

"....Hey, You Get Off My Cloud".......The Rolling Stones have just departed Singapore in a chartered B767, ZS-DJI, enroute to Perth for the commencement of their Australian tour.

But "...I Can't Get No Satisfaction..." as they arrive about 8.50pm tonight, well after dark.

So it will be a "..19th Nervous Breakdown.." for me if I can't photograph this rare jet which has a big decal of Mick's lips on the fuselage.

But "...You Can't Always Get What You Want.."

So I'll be "...Shattered.." but not "..Stoned.."..."As Tears Go By".

Why would these guys be travelling on a 28 year old aircraft? Surely with their riches they could afford to hire something a whole lot younger and (probably) more comfortable?

If I had their money I'd get a 40 year old 727.

If this tour gets cancelled we might not see this plane here, especially with Mick Jagger's recent bereavement.

Hi All,

Does anyone their call sign and route when they departed Perth?

Given that they have a B767-200ER, what sort of range would that have?

Stuart
