Default QF wants a slice of the Chinese boom...

our friends at the Flying Kangaroo are seeking to stamp their authority allover the booming Chinese market, given the recent excursions in to China, the $64 question needs to be asked...can they make it work?

though our European friends may have some qualms about this.

It will work if they can fly to Europe beyond Shanghai. They've always said they want to get a foothold in the chinese market but they overlook one important fact... most chinese prefer to fly on chinese carriers even if their service and standards are inferior than those of Qantas. I think the 787 will be good for the route.

Inferior to Qantas? They must be bad.

You could even say "most australians prefer to fly on Qantas even if their service and standards are inferior than those of other international carriers" although this is becoming less than less, judging by the latest market share numbers
