Default Severe Turbulence kills a passenger on SQ LHW-SIN

Last couple of my flights this week from CAN to KUL and back have had moderate chop but nothing significant (didnt stop folk walking around the cabin either).

another reason to keep seatbelt fastened when seated , this one was nasty with 80 people injured , surprised no other flights on this route had a similar experience , as many flights from Europe to Singapore / Thailand use the same route , although some may use different flight levels .
