Default DHC8 Scrapped in Cairns

Over the last two months two of the oldest DHC8 in Australia (and world) were broken up in Cairns Qld.

QQA/005 and QQC/008 were both reduced to spares and recently deleted from the Aust. register

QQA had an incident early in the decade that subsequently highlighted a problem with many of the early build dash 8s that was noted but not properly rectified:

Yes is a bit sad especially with it being in the new Skytrans livery.
