Anyone know what happened to VH-VXI on QF862 this afternoon? Made it to what looks like the Upper Hunter, turned back to SYD and according to my boss (who's on the flight) another aircraft will take over. Happily, she informs me she now has wine!

Almost Dark at 6PM, lots of lightening, heavy rain, and poor EK9822 doing heaps or orbits off the Northern Beaches (cant figure out how to get a copy of the FR24 screen) after having got to about Chatswood on Final before giving up. He has QF446 for company - who did a few orbits back around Yass as well.

These afternoon and evening storms are becoming a habit.

If you use Windows 7, you can use the "Snipping Tool" or with Mac OS X use CMD + Shift + 3 or 4.

RXA674 has returned to Wagga, QLK230D is still doing circuits. Could be rather interesting with little space available at Wagga due to Bay 4 being out of service again. While VOZ179A has been in the air for just over 2 hours! But looks like more storms forming to the west of Sydney.

QLK93D (VH-QOD) and QLK138D (VH-QON) diverted to Wagga this afternoon due to weather in Canberra. Both flights refuelled and departed around 3:30pm.

The site " theqantassource.com" is reporting that the aircraft VH-OQD returned to SYD due to a lack of serviceable toilets ....
