Default CX - 777 to Australia - rumour alert

Rumours that the CX 777s may be operating to Australia in the near future because of an approaching 'sudden' lack of Airbus pilots.

I'd say that is a distinct possibility particularly as they are apparently taking delivery of 77Ws without F class. CX don't need F for Australia and the new Y+ would enable them to compete more effectively with VS and QF (though QF may change HKG back to A330s only soon.)

2 777's and 2 A330's to sydney a day would be great!
