Farewell VH-EBX as you departed Oz this evening on your final journey.
Having served Qantas for 22 years you will be missed by many.

Farewell old friend, as I always say, sad to see a plane on her final trip and will be very sad to see the 743's out of the QF fleet! As nice as new planes and gadgets are, old friends are always missed



Would be interesting to know how many passengers have flown on her, someone feel like running some rough numbers ?

EBW was going to Christchurch.

Farewell to EBX - it is sad seeing any aircraft leave the fleet, I will miss the classics thats for sure.

The bad thing is that they'll never come back. They'll just sit there in that aircraft graveyard in the USA facing uncertian futures.

Agree Paul - my dream is to see a 743, a 763 and a 737 join VH-EBQ up in Longreach but I know that will never happen.
