Default Camden visit

Following an enquiry from Gordon Reid about some interesting movements at Camden I went out for a looksie and managed some shots of aircraft that have arrived there recently.

K/air 200 N478GD is ex VH-FDO and arrived from Rockhampton earlier this month whereas the Citation 3 N692BE has been there since July. Gordon advises that both these aircraft are registered to Dodson International Parts.

Aerostar N154DD has a nice scheme but not sure how long it has been there.

The resident Learjet 24, N174RD, was inside the hangar so no pics.

The number of aircraft and operators at Camden has increased significantly since the closure of Hoxton park and assume a few have moved there from Bankstown over the last few years due to hikes in rent and parking fees etc.

(Sorry pics won't load for some reason..all marked as invalid so will have to fix)

Peter,

I know what you mean. I too was out at Camden, just last weekend and, I too,was very surprised by the number of and wide variety of aircraft that call Camden home.

It was my first visit for a number of years and I was pleasantly surprised.

Would have loved more time, and I will go back.

Cheers
Jim
