QF1 Delay & QF8 diversion

Hi all,

Anyone know why QF1 has been delayed overnight ex SYD for the last two days?

Also,QF8 this morning (VH-OEE) diverted via AKL and according to Flightaware, OEI is en route now as QF8 and also going via AKL.

Any info would be great

Strong headwinds maybe, meaning the aircraft have to refuel?

QF8 would have had to divert due to weather on both occasions.
