And did make it there today. I din't think I'd find myself saying this, but great work to SAC and the board admins for this nice facility and fitting tribute!

There was an article in either smh.com.au or news.com.au this afternoon, but I couldn't find it again. Grahame was interviewed.

To echo the thoughts of fellow forum members, now that the spot is widely publicised, I sincerely hope all visitors respect it.

If there was one complaint I would make about the mound, it would be that there should be more parking spots. I was there at around 7:30 this morning and there were only 2 parking spaces left (excluding the disabled spots).

Don't forget there are four spots in the upper level car park adjacent the southern side of the new Mound, although if the three eastern spots are full the fourth spot becomes all but unusable except perhaps by a motorcycle.

I wonder if the No Stopping restrictions at the western end of Ross Smith Drive could be reconsidered? I know Carbridge transporters need some reserved space but a one hour limit for other parking would allow enough time for casual visitors to enjoy the Mound.

Thanks Craig, it was a bit of an historic event, especially naming it after Shep, and having members of his family present. The video is edited down slightly, but I thinks it still portrays the sentiment of the occasion.
