Just wondering whether this flight is operating this year.
Haven't heard anything about it but if it is, has anyone got any details yet?
Flight No,aircraft,departure time etc?

Merry Xmas and happy new year to you all,
Thanks

Thanks Sarah, I had a bit of a look there which gave the three departure dates for this summer. If anyone happens to find out aircraft details for this flight,it would be appreciated.

Thanks
Jim

Has anyone done one of these flights before? I'm contemplating it for something different, yet trying to justify what to pay in terms of seating and view.

Many thanks!

Hi Maikha

I did this early last year. We paid for the cheapest seats (middle of the middle, with no rotation) and had no issues at all. Everyone is standing up during the flight, and if you're happy to hang by the emergency exits and swap with others to get the window view, all is good.

Initially, once you hit Antarctica, everyone is crowding around to try to see everything, so you get more limited window time, but after an hour or two everyone seems to get a bit bored of the ice, you will find you will have no problems at all getting the window view!
