Just to let anyone who may be interested that 12 noon tomorrow the fait of the JQ & QF ground Crew @ HBA will be announced....
Loads of rumors flying around, but we will just have to wait and see...

Basically it has been put up for tender (JQ HBA have made their own bid, as such)
And Aerocare AAE Skystar EGH have all submitted bids.......

Whilst not directly related to Sydney - Jetstar have also rescheduled their last MEL-LST service for winter. It now leaves 3 hours earlier at around 4.30pm. Not good for northern Tasmanian business travellers, but will undoubtedly be good for Virgin Blue's 8.30pm service and Qantaslink's new Q400 services.

EGH is part of the QF group as well.

Neither QF/JQ or EGH secured any of the work by the looks of it.

All contracted out to third parties. Sign of the times i guess.

Yeah am aware that its not AAE (as such)
They guys (staff) just refer to them as AAE as Air Trade handle AAE at Hobart.

Management had to do the check ins etc this afternoon at Hobart, they went for a drink
