Default B744 in Delta Colours

Hi Guys,

Can I just say this.........wow! The DL scheme on the 744 is awesome!

I like this one as well as the (I guess) soon to be defunct NW colours too.

In fact, almost any 747 looks great in any Airline's colours. There should be (I wish) a lot more including the 747-8. Ah well, I guess the days are over when every International Airline needed a 747 for their range rather than their size, something Airbus is starting to figure out with the 380 at great cost! Yikes!

Agree Mike. I am seriously struggling to think of any liveries on 747s that don't look great.

Its now rolled out of the hanger now in full delta livery it does look nice but NWA colours look better on the 747

The 'Delta' print could have been larger and perhaps in the middle of the 2 decks rather than up the top??

But does look good!!

I like the tail, the Delta font is very ordinary and could probably have "Airlines" after it to fill the space. I would have kept the fuselage all white (no blue underneath) as it adds nothing to the profile on the ground, probably the most common angle aircraft are viewed from.
