Default Anchorage Alaska

Anchorage would have to be a favourite amongst plane spotters as you have the Ted Stevens International Airport and its busy freight depot, literally across the road is the Alaska Aviation Museum which backs on to Lake Hood, the busiest floatplane airport in the world. there is also Merrill Field, a busy general aviation airport and Elmendorf USAF base where its common to see aircraft such as the C-17 coming and going.
Here are just a few from the Alaska Aviation Museum.

LAKE HOOD, Anchorage Alaska.
Its the busiest floatplane airport in the world, but it does have a sealed runway as well. here are a few shots taken of planes on the ground.
