Hevilift PNG POM-BNE today ...P2-KSL ATR42 eta 1115am on Flightaware

VH-ZNI ...LIMA-BNE today QF7028 repat flight.eta 2045 HRS.Don't believe BNE has had a pax flight ever from Lima and mayby Sth America also?

Just curious to know the story behind the daily Lufthtansa A380 and 747 from Bangkok to AKL? Assuming freight flights?

Rescue flights to AKL and CHC. A large number of Germans are in NZ hence the number of Lufthansa flights over recent weeks

KLM B777-300ER PH-BVO is scheduled into Sydney this evening.

Flight is from Tokyo-NRT and due at 2100. Flight number KL827

It appears that KLM's routing was somewhat longer than the usual Tokyo-Sydney routing as they have skirted around the west of PNG. Obviously they lacked the requisite overflight approvals but why?
