ZND first flight due 31/1, presumably US time. Delivery due 26/2.

I expected that it would fly before it was painted, so that it wouldn't spoil the big reveal.

Qantas have announced that the dreamliners start Sept 1 BNE to LAX then continuing on to New York, with a second service leaving late afternoon four days a week serviced by 747s.

From Dec 1 both services will be dreamliners

It will be registered N1006F for testing, currently all white with the exception of the tail, and I would say if that date stands it will be delivered all white.

Don't forget that "Project Sunrise" is in the background which may ultimately decide the number of B787s in the fleet.
