Jetstar have GE engines, BA have Rolls Royce engines.

Qatar have GE and at least some of theirs have grey engines. From what I've read the engine casing is the same for both GE and RR and the issue with paint is to do with laminar flow. I think the white looks silly but perhaps VKA's engine casings were painted before Boeing approved 'colours other than white'? Maybe silver or grey will come with later deliveries? Also I think the white wing and tail surfaces don't affect the 'look' of the plane ('the vibe of the thing'!?) because their horizontal surfaces so a little less visible.

Let's hope for no battery incidents on this beauty... any black marks will be rather visible on that nice white body...
