Default Rego Request: QF581 - 4/5/2012 - SYD-PER

Hi there,
Assuming VH-OJD will be the aircraft, yet will ask anyway given the significance of the occasion.

cheers

You are correct in your assumption that it will be VH-OJD. It does look to be significant in the fact that the QF581 will no longer be operated by a 747 but instead revert to a A330-300 after the 4th May.

Enjoy your flight.

Thanks very much Fred, greatly appreciated.

Yes, I guess this leaves only the BNE-SYD leg of QF8 as the only 747 operated domestic flight in Australia.

I know Qantas made the decision based on what is good for business, although in a perfect world it would have been nice if QF replaced a 767 on this run with an A330 instead of removing the 747.

Personally if I need to fly at a certain time of the day, I would prefer Virgin Australia's A332 over a 767 for a flight of that length.

Still, it was fun while it lasted.
Cheers
