Default How to Evacuate an ATR72-500?

On the safety card on board the ATR, I find it difficult to evacuate the aircarft should it has ditched into the ocean, in particular there are things like position A then you can use the other exit vv.

Can anyone try to explain how can I evacuate an ATR72 should it has ditched into water?

Ask the flight attendant. That's their area of expertise.
If you were unsure of anything in the safety card and didn't ask for clarification, then I'd hate to be sitting next to you in the event of an emergency.

G'day,

I haven't been on one myself, but just having a look on the net for the ATR72-500 safety card it is a little different!

To me, it appears that the front exits are always available in the ditching, and the rear exits are either not available (for a wings level scenario), and only one available in very specific circumstances if one wing is lower in the water than the other.

In the actual emergency, you will have the cabin crew shouting out commands which way to go.

Q400 rear exits are not available during a ditching as well.
