Default QF Schedule changes

G'day folks,

I noticed QF have changed the QF78/77 timing for the next week or so (in fact all of the PER/SIN services for that matter).

Is this just for A/C maintenance purposes or is there a bigger plan? 04:40 departure from PER is not friendly.

Cheers,
Scott

This is due to QPA being out of service for repairs.

Things should be back to normal by the 10th NOV.

G'day Scotty/Ben et al

The rescheduled QF77 flights will actually ops up to and including 30NOV.

Along with minor time changes on the QF72/71/78 flights, this allows just the one A330 to ops the double daily PER-SIN-PER flights.

QF077 PERSIN 0440/090
QF072 SINPER 1020/1630
QF071 PERSIN 1750/2210
QF078 SINPER 2050/0300+1

A few weeks ago QF B73H were operating on various PER-SIN-PER flights in lieu of A330 a/c!! (not an ideal situation for J class pax)

Regards

Luke/PER

Looks like it has been extended.

QF52 SIN-BNE is also changed by around 3hrs. 0915am BNE arrival.

Thanks

While we are at it here are some other up coming changes:
Dates are always subject to change.

International:

*JAN 9th 2009: A332s replace A333s on all SYD-PEK-SYD services.
*JAN 16th 2009: QF25/26 MEL-AKL-LAX vv reverts back to an all B744 operation.
*JAN 16th 2009: A333s replace B763s on all SYD-CGK-SYD services.
*JAN 18th 2009: A332s replace A333s on SYD-PVG-SYD and MEL-PVG-MEL routes.

QF19/20 SYD-MNL-SYD apparently goes A333 sometime in JAN09 as well.

Domestic

*FEB 26th 2009: B73Hs replace leased Alliance F100s on PER-PHE-PER route.

Feel free to add any other changes.

I think that's where the BNE aircraft comes into play.

Slightly off topic but does anyone know if -EBJ and -EBK are staying in their current domestic config long-term?

Seems odd having these 2 A332's dedicated to domestics when every other flight is a B737 or B763 I can't see the logic especially with no PTV's in Y. Unlike the B743's from a pax perspective I can't see the attraction to fly on them.

Surely they could of just upgraded J class in a handful of B763's and then use these 2 A332's on International flights (same as EBG, EBH and EBI) to replace the B763's which current operate Internationally such as PER-NRT and BNE-SIN.

Just seems a waste of 2 new A332's too me.

BNE-SIN-BNE is ops by A333.

From end of JAN09 the only long B763 intl routes will be SYD-HNL and PER-NRT.
