Emirates should buy out VA as the number of very poor "customer service" experiences I have heard about VA lately is appauling!

Whilst that may be true of the handling of cancelled flights etc I have not heard one negative comment about their onboard service or product.

I wonder if VA will start having access to the EK lounges going forward. The current arrangements don't appear sustainable.

Now the cancellations of a flight a week from BNE-LAX and SYD-LAX

Another change to the arrival time into LAX of 1 hour

From March onwards the MEL-LAX flight arrives into LAX at 6pm

The amount of changes to peoples schedules with no care from VA at all is the problem.

They think that rerouting people via SYD or BNE with many more hours wasted is acceptable.

They are worse than Tiger!

Likewise. Not having online check-in and the ability to do seat selection through it is a bit annoying, but they make up for this so many times over with the quality of their service that it isn't something I would think twice about when choosing a carrier.

Its all due to the delay with the fourth aircraft, worse than Tiger..............think your stretching it a tad there buddy

Where did you pull the 'no care' from VA line from??? They have done the best they can to accomodate effected pax, they can pull a B77W out of the sky

VA actually delayed the plane for MEL-LAX

The changes to schedules are not simply due to the delay of one plane.

The SYD and BNE to LAX flights were running fine until they realised the loads were too low.

All they are offering customers are refunds, they don't want to rebook on other carriers

Then, when you think all that poor service has passed, they change the MEL-LAX flights from a morning departure to an evening departure.

Then, they change lots of flights by about 1 hour again, thus further causing people to miss their onward flights from LAX.

I'll say it again, they are worse than Tiger at the moment.

Why should they have to rebook you on other carriers? Say you ordered a TV from Myer but they later found out they were out of stock, is Myer obligated to buy it for you from DJs?
