Default Wedgetail at Waddington (in England)

Hi, (my first post),
Thought I might add a few photo's from the Waddington Air show at the weekend.
Really only wanted to see the Wedgetail and all a bit of a rush as working in the morning and the last day there (Sunday).

Had a chat with the nice air crew too and despite the wedge there's no handling issues on flying the jet.
Also just as well I went as it won't be back any time soon and was off to Canada on the Monday...not even time for RIAT!

Hi,
Yes I have just a few more (millions on the Wedgetail) but concentrated more on the civil conversion to military one's - which takes my fancy more than the fighter's etc.
Funny thing was, I wasn't the only one who had come over to see the Wedgetail as I saw another spotter taking loads of photo's.
I mentioned the rare appearance etc and he too said the visit was the main reason on seeing this aircraft.
Anyway it's lunch time here now and midnight your end so when I get back home from work I'll post a few other's up later (eg:Saab 340/2000 and Casa).

John.

The Swedish Air Force Saab with the "What the hell is that?" mounted on the top of the plane is interesting.
It looks like something I would make out of left over bits of an Airfix kit (not too many years ago).
Great photo's, keep them coming.

Agree Tim, that is one crazy Saab!

Am loving the picks we are getting on the board in the past few months from new members in Europe.

Keep them coming.

Cheers

Tim that's a S-100D Argus, a 340 derived Airborne Early Warning platform...
Great photos John love the bigger stuff too, love that AN-2 Colt.

A30-005 sure gets around as it recently participated in an exercise in Alaska.
