I've only used it once and it told me it couldn't process me, go see an agent. I asked the agent what the problem was and got told that I was in an exit row and somebody had to ask me if I was happy with that. "Yep .. that's why I booked the exit row!!" |

Next thing they will be doing is asking passsengers to act as Trolley Dollies. What is it all coming to.Or it will be load your own luggage into the belly locker as you walk past.

Not too bad an idea.
Like Blue Check at SYD T2, you'd probably see a few staff around making sure it all goes well. Guessing the computer would ask about flammable objects etc.. Overall, not bad, but even with this idea isn't it still necessary to visit a Bag Drop Counter? Thus I don't really see the huge efficiency in it, unless its as simple as weigh the bag, declare no dangerous goods, tag the bag, insert bag into some sort of chute, and go. In which case it gives airlines the ability to close quite a few of their checkin and bagdrop desks and open a sole Assistance desk where they do manual check-ins and bag-drops occasionally.. Gives the airline the ability to accuse a passenger of screwing up their own luggage if it goes missing too. |

I was unaware of that! Thus I think it is an efficient and good idea. Cheers David.
