As a frequent visitor to Mauritius thankfully Air Austral will for now continue services between Sydney and Reunion Island for how long who knows.

That's right David originally was to stop in March however will now continue. I believe the Saturday service has been downgraded to a 777-200 but the Tuesday service remains the 777-300. Onward connections to Mauritius are usually onboard one of their new 737-800 or ATR 72 aircraft.
