Andrew,

Hasnt QF just taken up sponsorship for 2010?

I would have thought more than ever they would have wanted their real equipment "to be seen" as a part of this deal.

I agree with you to the extent I am not against his toy plane, but what is in it for QF?

An A380 or 747 that anyone can book on must be more efficient advertising I would have thought.

I doubt many of the visitors at the GP will have been on or seen the A380, I dont think they will ever get the opportunity to go on the Travolta toy.

Kind regards,

Geoff

I dont think so!

"Maybe the two aircraft couldn't do the fly past - 707/380 combination?"

Mmmm,

Like that better. However I like aviation.

I am not picking for pickings sake, but it is a GP, not an airshow.

If it was Avalon, I wouldnt have responded this way. Whilst I am generally not so interested in the GP, I am also not anti GP.

I only live several blocks away from the track, I ALWAYS enjoy seeing the B747 sneak in, along with the other equipment that fills in pre race.

Still maintain that QF have to get maximum exposure for their efforts. Even though this is only for a few quick minutes.

For what its worth (zippo) I wont even be here this year to see or hear any of this. Aaaarghhh....

Take care.

Kind regards,

Geoff

I could see the Greenies (Save Albert Park Group) jumping up and down, when they see at a 707 leaving some black smoke behind after its flyby!

But who cares, I would love to see it fly down over the track!

If as Chris asks, the 707 is here does anyone know an arrival date.

With Obama cancelling or pushing back a few days as reported on the news tonight it would be good to photograph the 707.

I fly down to the F1 on the Friday.
