Default China to take on dodgy European parliament

in todays Australian online

http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news...-1226264093262

Wouldn't you just love to see the Chinese telling the Europeans to get stuffed with their dodgy scheme, that does nothing for the environment.

It a Chinese aircraft landed in Europe (saying we're not paying any dodgy tax), no govt there would be game to touch it or cop the wrath of China who "own" most of Europe anyway.

Financial sanctions would send Europe back to stone age.

International law couldn't do much.

Glad someone is standing up to this nonscience.

China shuns airline emissions scheme as EU could ban non-complying carriers by: Michael Sainsbury, China correspondent From: The Australian February 07, 2012 12:00AM
CHINA has refused to comply with the revolutionary European scheme to tax airlines on carbon emissions, banning its airlines from participating and setting the stage for other developing nations to follow suit.
The carbon tax could cost the sector as much as $28.3 billion over the next eight years and is part of Europe's ambitious emissions trading scheme.
