Default Update on UA 777's on SYD-SFO

Does anyone have an update on whether this is still going ahead? Traveling this route in mid May and would like to change some seat assignments if it's true. The United site is still showing 744 for the flights.

Anyone heard anything?

Cheers,

Ben

I saw on one of the Seek.com job finding sites that there was UA Engineers needed with experiance on the 747 and 777 aircraft. Perhaps it still is if United are looking for staff to keep it maintained.

Thanks for the update guys.

This sucks, I was hoping to grab those 2 seats on the side for an upcoming trip too!
