It looks great on the 747-400 but for some reason it looks weird on the A330-200 - makes it look like a toy or something.

It is a toy, it was built by Airbus.

Don't be like that David... They're all someone's toys... Be they Airbus or Boeing...

I like the look of it, makes the 744 look longer.

'Longreach' titles looked better closer to the nose and lower, but I'm sure we'll all accept them eventually...

Paintscheme looks a lot sharper, as it does on all types it has been demonstrated on thus far. The Dash 8 and 744 look the best so far, in my opinion.

I have a feeling the question may have been answered on the old board, but what will come of the special paint-scheme aircraft?

The Qantas titles seem to be smaller than on the 330.

Looks like "Phillip Island" to me, though im probably wrong.

Looks much better to me. More vibrant red, and i like the italic style of Qantas.

I actually think the new paint scheme suits the B744 pretty well (much better than the A332)

You are correct Rhys, the words above the word 'Longreach' is 'Phillip Island' which is the name for VH-OEB.

I have to admit it does look kind of odd that the aircraft name is painted all the way up there, next to the cockpit windows. But then again, it is probably the first time (?) the aircraft name appeared on the fuselage for the B744 fleet.
