How does an airline notify Airbus of this?
eMail, Fax or maybe a text saying "Your Dumped"

From the BBC:

Airbus cancelled the order and notified Skymark by FAX on Sunday.

That's an interesting twist Brian, that Airbus cancelled the order not Skymark. I wonder if the A330 order is in any danger...

Rowan,

Yes, it is a twist from the first post.

Reuters has the story here:

http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/...0FY05C20140729.

As I understand it.

Skymark wanted to modify their order.
Airbus wanted certain conditions.
Skymark said no to the conditions and were unable to make the next instalment.
Airbus cancelled the order.
Skymark may not get back the instalments already made.

Brian.
