Default Nowra & HARS (some photos)

Last Friday, I visited the HARS' tarmac days (every 2nd Friday of the month and associated weekend), and made a short stop at Nowra as well. Just wanted to share a couple of my photos from that sunny day:

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Default Is that Mirage III from Bankstown?

Because I remember seeing one at the museum there. I have never seen that aircraft at HARS.

No, they have A3-44, or rather had, because they are now moving their aircraft to Camden for the new museum. A3-42 arrived with HARS in March 2015, from Wagga Wagga if I'm correct. It is or will be restored into taxying condition.
Cheers,
Jonathan

I thought it was moved from Wangaratta? It was at RAAF Base Wagga but that was some time ago.

This was A3-42 parked outside during WOI 2016

A3-44 is the second aircraft in this flight line of Mriages at Williamtown on 20/05/1983

And this is A3-2 in ARDU livery at the Richmond Air Show in 1988

Hard to beat a flight line of Mirages.

Great coverage of Nowra and the HARS Open Day by the way Jonathan.
