Default Delta - new economy seating

In view of the takeover, will this happen?

Great innovation but the seats don't look as though they recline and have a very straight back.

Imagine sleeping for 8 hours on your right ear, on what looks like a very firm wall! ouch!

It's an end to the idea of stretching out over three seats if the load is light unless you want a crinkle cut back!

Looks good from the front, and I'm sure the seats may be comfortable enough.
However, with the staggered rows like that, imagine trying to get out from the window seat to go to the toilet. From the photos I've seen, it's going to be harder than if the rows are not staggered.

You will find that they recline inside the pod by sliding the seat cushion forward. The new Qantas Y seats on the A380 will do this and I beleive some Cathay seats do the same.
