"German tanks' - that's an interesting load as surely they wouldn't be for the Australian Army given that we've only had the Abrams tanks in service a short time.

Perhaps the German army has them here for hot weather testing or exercises somewhere.

I heard today the armoured personell vehicles are here to be tested in outback SA. two were off loaded and they apparently weigh 36 tonne each. they are being trialled in hot, dusty conditions, so I guess once thats all done, they will be picked up and returned to Germany? by Antonov once again??

From what i read also, once they have finished their work in outback South Australia, they will be doing some more testing in Queensland. And rumour has it that Brisbane is getting an ADB An124 in the next few weeks. Hope im wrong, would love to see another couple of AN124s in Adelaide.

Default An124

This one made a better landing than the first one. Although I did not see the landing. but even on approach, it was too high.
